Cookie Policy

This landing page uses one cookie, and it exists only to remember the language you picked. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no social plugin and no third-party tracker on this page.

The one cookie we set

NEXT_LOCALE

Purpose: remembers whether you chose English, Spanish or Tagalog.

Content: a two-letter language code — nothing else, nobody identified.

Set: only when you click the language switcher.

Lifetime: one year.

Type: first-party, strictly necessary / preference.

Why there is no cookie banner

Article 22.2 LSSI-CE and the ePrivacy Directive require consent for cookies, except those strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested. A language cookie written only when you actively choose a language falls squarely within that exemption — the AEPD's cookie guidance lists user-selected preference cookies as exempt.

So asking you to accept cookies here would be theatre: there would be nothing to accept or refuse. We would rather not show a banner than show a meaningless one.

If that changes, the banner comes back. The moment we add analytics or any other non-essential cookie to this page, we will ask for consent before loading it, and update this page.

What your browser stores anyway

Independently of cookies, your browser and our hosting provider handle the ordinary technical data needed to deliver a web page — the request itself, your IP address, caching headers. That is covered in the privacy policy.

The comparison app is different

The app at app.sulitsend.com does have optional product analytics, and therefore does show a consent banner and stores your choice. Its own cookie notice lists everything it keeps.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking NEXT_LOCALE costs you nothing beyond having to pick your language again on each visit.
